What type of training is best for me?

•    If you are joining us as a new volunteer, please book onto an induction weekend.

•    If you attended training on Olga in 2022 but would like further training before joining voyages as a Watch Leader, you are welcome to book onto an induction weekend.

•    If you have already volunteered as Watch Leader on a voyage in 2022, please book onto a refresher weekend. This will give you the chance to re-familiarise yourself with the boat and our procedures before the season starts. It’s a shorter weekend than the induction (Saturday to Sunday).

•    Our ‘Skippers and Mates’ training is for volunteers who have worked up from Watch Leader and are ready to join us as Second or First Mates, we will be inviting volunteers individually to this training.
